Transition Year

Our Transition Year Programme is a highly structured one year programme aimed at developing a more mature student who will be better prepared for the demands of the Leaving Certificate and further study or work.

It is designed to act as a bridge between the Junior Cycle and Senior Cycle by facilitating the smooth transition from the more dependent learning of the Junior Cycle to the more independent self directed learning of the Senior Cycle.

Our History

St. Clement's College is an all boys school of approximately 520 students located in Limerick City. St. Clementโ€™s College was founded in October 1884 as a juniorate for the Redemptorist order.

Until recent times the religious orders and the Church felt it necessary to have their own special colleges in order to insure that they had sufficient supply of educated young men entering the seminaries.

St. Clementโ€™s College seeks to facilitate the development of each student to his full academic, personal, spiritual and social potential in a Catholic, caring, respectful and safe environment.
